About Me:
Dennis King is the Executive Director of Access SBDC formerly the Small Business Development Center Hispanic Satellite (2011-2021) and the Small Business Development Center Silicon Valley (2013-2021). He is also the Director and Co-Founder of the Enterprise Foundation (since 2007).
He is the editor/publisher of Access Magazine. He is also the Executive Director of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Silicon Valley. Dennis is the vice chair of the City of San Jose’s Small Business Advisory Task Force. He is a member and past chair of the Chamber Coalition Silicon Valley, board member of SVO (formerly the San Jose/Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce, since 2010), board member and state parliamentarian of the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce (since 2006) and its foundation, plus a member of other organizations and advisory councils (including Industry Council for Small Business Development, Western Association of Chamber Executives, the Job Corps, International House at San Jose State University) and Rotary (Silicon Valley Passport).
He is a former business owner in general construction and magazine publishing. Long active in the community, Dennis was president of Pacific Neighbors (San Jose Sister Cities) for over fifteen years and co-founder and chair of the International Committee of the then San Jose/Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce. Dennis was educated at San Jose State University and Foothill College where he was student body president at both campuses.
